Management of Social Impact Program

“Management of Social Impact Program” was organized between 20-21 June 2018 in cooperation with ASBU-SIM and Koç University Social Impact Forum (KUSIF). The opening speech of the two-day training program is made by honorable our rector Prof.Dr. Mehmet Barca. Supported by various group works, during the program the concepts of social impact and sustainability were examined, and the necessary methods were worked in order to create local social contribution projects based on social impact. Not only academic staff of our university but also representatives from different public institutions participated in the program.

SSUA-SIC Social Innovation Program

Within the scope of “Social Innovation Center Project”, which is supported by Ankara Development Agency, SIM organized the first of ASBU-SIM Social Innovation Program in Ulus district on 11-12 April 2017 to raise awareness on social innovation and to bring together different stakeholders. Department of Economics lecturer Asst.Prof.Dr Zeynep Burcu UĞUR, Head of Business Administration Department Prof.Dr. Çetin ÖNDER and SSUA-SIC Managing Director Assos.Prof.Dr. Erdal AKDEVE contributed as an educator at two-day training program. The program contexts includes the definition of social innovation, development process, importance and measurement; strategic thinking and cooperation in the innovation. Academic staffs and students from various universities of Ankara, public and private sector employees and the representatives from non-governmental organizations.

Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Institutional Programs

Training for Trainers

The branch managers, chiefs and executive candidates working in the central and provincial organization of Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology participated “Development of Management Skills and Modern Management Techniques Program” on 18-25 April 2017 in Ayaş. Approximately 220 people have been trained in the program. Innovative management techniques explained theoretically and also the implementations have been realized which provide a place to experience innovative management techniques.

Project Market

The Project Market activities carried out within the scope of the Social Innovation Project supported by Ankara Development Agency started in February 2017, and the project ideas developed by the individual who can be defined as both institutions and social entrepreneurs, were accepted for the solution of social problems.
