Ankara Social Sciences University, established in the field of social sciences, will implement the “Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Infrastructure” as a first in our country. The ASBU Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Infrastructure Project (ASBU INALP), prepared by our University’s Social Innovation and Civil Society Application and Research Center (ASBU-SİM), has been approved and supported by the Presidency Strategy and Budget Presidency.

The social sciences research infrastructure model, designed as a first in Turkey, will strengthen the research and development capacity in social sciences for a sustainable development vision. The project aims to develop a holistic and nationwide structure that will include various social research laboratories, as well as a common human resources pool, common social areas, research centers and stakeholders (public, private sector and NGOs). Acting with the mission of contributing to society, this research infrastructure at ASBU will also play a critical role as a connector between the academy and the ASBU Socio-City Technology Development Zone.

Within ASBU İNALP, it is planned to establish three social research laboratories in the first stage, namely "Innovation-Entrepreneurship, Qualified Migration and Digitalization". These social research laboratories aim to produce and analyze data with an in-depth expertise approach and to transform these data into sustainable indexes that will provide input to policy development processes. Thus, the research and development contribution of social sciences will be provided in cooperation with natural sciences in both solving social problems and meeting social expectations in our country. This research infrastructure model, which will be implemented for the first time in Turkey, will be implemented with active cooperation to be carried out in the field with the relevant institutions and organizations of our country.
